The Alto Learning Hub is your first stop for training. Mandatory for all users who are new to Alto, the Alto Learning Hub offers self led e-Learning and Video-style training.

The e-Learning consists of bite-sized interactive courses alongside on-demand Video content, which you can work through at your own pace. Fully responsive, our learning allows you to step through the training at a time and pace to suit you and can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection.  There is no expiration on your Alto Learning Hub account so you can revisit the content at any stage to refresh your knowledge.

To make sure you don't miss any important emails about your Alto Learning Hub account, please add learning@solutions.zoopla.co.uk, and altotraining@zoopla.co.uk to your safe senders email list.

Below are some of the most frequently asked questions relating to the use of the Alto Learning Hub:

How do I sign up to the Alto Learning Hub?

You can create your own account on the Alto Learning Hub so there's no need to wait around for someone to set you up before you can start training.

  1. Go to https://zoopla.docebosaas.com/learn/register
  2. Enter your Email address where prompted and tick to accept the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions
  3. Click Register
  4. Check your email inbox and follow the instructions sent to you to activate your account

How do I log in for the first time?

After registering for an account via the above link, you'll receive an activation email which looks like this:

  1. Click the link in the email to reset your password and log in for the first time

What do I do if I've forgotten my password?

If you've forgotten your password, there's no need to worry. It’s easy to request a password reset from the log in screen.

  1. Go to https://zoopla.docebosaas.com/learn/signin
  2. Click Forgot Your Password?
  3. Enter your Email address where prompted
  4. Click Send Reset Link
  5. Check your email inbox and follow the instructions sent to you to reset your password

What do I do if my password reset email doesn't arrive​?

If your password reset email doesn't arrive in your inbox, first check your email providers spam or junk folder to make sure it hasn't been filtered here in error. 

If you're still unable to locate the email then you have two options:

If you've never logged in to the Alto Learning Hub before

  1. Go to https://zoopla.docebosaas.com/learn/signin
  2. Enter your Email address as the Username
  3. Enter Alto123 as the Password
  4. Click Sign In

This should log you in to the Alto Learning Hub. You'll then be prompted to change your password in order to keep your account secure. 

If you have previously logged in to the Alto Learning Hub

  1. If the password reset email is not in your spam or junk folder, please email altotraining@zoopla.co.uk with your name and email address and a member of the team will be happy to assist you

How do I know which courses I need to complete?

The first time you log in to the Alto Learning Hub, you'll see a course named Alto Basics has been automatically assigned to you.  This will be clearly visible in the Your progress area of the homepage as shown below.

  1. Click on the Alto Basics course to open it

This is a short course giving you a brief introduction to Alto and the Alto Learning Hub, and will step you through the process of selecting which courses you need to complete to get you up to speed on Alto.

After completing the Alto Basics course, you'll be enrolled onto your chosen learning plan.

Your allocated courses will unlock one by one so you'll need to work through them in order. These will show in the Your progress area, however, be aware that only three courses will be shown in each section on the homepage, so click View All to see more.

 Note

If you created your own account on the Alto Learning Hub prior to December 2023, you may not have courses assigned to you when you first log in. You can enrol yourself on any courses you require by following the instructions in the How can I enrol on a course I would like to complete section below.

How can I enrol on a course I would like to complete?

If you wish to enrol on further training after completing your initial courses, you can enrol yourself on additional courses from the Course Catalogue

You can access this from the user menu as shown below.

From here, you can enrol in any additional courses not currently assigned to you by taking the following steps:

  1. Click Take A Look under the area you are interested in, to see the full catalogue
  2. Click the course you would like to enrol on
  3. Click Enrol on the right

The course will be added to your assigned learning and you can begin straight away. Alternatively, you can find it later in the Not Started tab within the Your progress widget on the homepage.

The different courses available and approximate completion times are as follows:

Foundation 1 This covers the basics of using Alto, from initial log-in through to creating a contact or property record and progressing a sale or let. 2 hours
Foundation 2 2 hours 15 minutes
Property Management This is recommended for lettings negotiators and property managers, and covers how to create and manage a tenancy. 2 hours
Accounts This is recommended for property and/or accounts managers, and covers how to use the accounting functions in Alto including setting up overseas landlord tax, processing deposits, receipting and reconciling payments and paying landlords 2 hours
Alto Extras - System Admin Essentials This is recommended for group administrators and senior managers, and covers how to configure company and branch settings, user roles and permissions, and the set up of standard paragraphs. 1 hour 30 minutes
Alto Extras - System Admin Property Management & Accounts This is recommended for group administrators and senior accounts managers, and covers how to configure NRL settings, statement and invoice remarks, and the sending of accounting documents 1 hour

How do I disenroll from a course I no longer want to complete?

If you are enrolled on a course that you do not feel is relevant to your role, or, if you are enrolled on the video course and would rather look at e-Learning, please email us at altotraining@zoopla.co.uk with the details of the course you would like to be disenrolled from and we will be happy to arrange this for you.

I'm a manager, can I view the progress of my team?

As a manager you can see the progress of your team members from the My Team area. This allows you to:

  • Add users to your team
  • Enrol your team members on learning content
  • View an overview of your teams activity (course progress, last sign in etc)
  • Run training reports on your teams training enrolments and attendance
