Improvements

Brief Your Market marketing consent

This improvement went live on 27th January.

The logic for sharing contact details with Brief Your Market (BYM) has been updated. This means, we’ll start sharing updated contacts whose General Marketing consent status is unknown. Previously we only shared when consent was granted.

Import periodic tenancies without dates

This improvement went live on 17th January.

Periodic tenancies didn't have the below fields populated when imported, and our import validation required these dates to be populated for a tenancy to import successfully.

  • Renewal Date
  • Notice Date (NTQ Date)
  • End Date
  • Term

We've now removed the need to populate these fields for periodic tenancies upon import.

Works order imports

This improvement went live on 17th January.

During the onboarding to Alto, we've now increased the scope of data that can be imported.

Lettings agents will now have the potential to import their Works orders (maintenance jobs).

Until now, the only way Works orders could be imported into Alto was as 'notes' but you would need to manually enter any active Works orders so you could continue to manage your properties.

The ability to now import Works orders will save hours of data entry post migration.

Bank Reconciliation - auto reconcile transactions

This improvement went live on 10th January.

Previously, if a bank reconciliation hadn't been completed regularly, the count of unreconciled transactions could build to the point where the screen wouldn't open.

We've improved this now so that if there are more than 2000 unreconciled items, when the Bank Reconciliation screen is opened, a message will appear asking if you would like to auto reconcile transactions up to a certain date. This will give you the option to auto reconcile all transactions up to and including the date selected, bringing the unreconciled transactions back to a manageable number.
