Preparing for your Alto activation

When onboarding with Alto, on an agreed date, we'll take a full and final extract of data from your existing CRM to be transferred into Alto, in the same way we received the data for your Test Migration.

Your Onboarding Coordinator will advise an estimate of the time required to do so, but this can be longer or shorter depending upon various factors. For example, any media will load more slowly due to the size of the files.

Updating any changes

During the Data Migration process, we took a copy of your data from your previous CRM.

After this Data Grab, any changes you made to that CRM (i.e. record changes, viewings, diary appointments) won’t have been reflected in the migrated data that’s now in Alto.

Therefore, if you and your team haven't already, you'll need to take manual notes of any changes that have been made to your previous CRM, and manually update the migrated data within Alto, once you receive your logins.

 Note

Bear in mind that at this stage, your media and data may still be loading into the Alto database

As Alto will not be feeding to the portals yet, this does mean there will be duplication. As such, it's essential Alto and your previous CRM are kept up to date alongside each other. Your previous CRM will still be feeding to the portals and Alto will need to be kept up to date ready to switch over the portals.
