Alto conveyancing - new features

This new feature went live on 2nd December.

Case handler details automated into Alto

After an Alto approved conveyancer is instructed, they will assign a dedicated case handler. This ensures that details automatically flow through to Alto and update the relevant record, so you'll know when to complete the memorandum of sale and keep things moving forward quickly. An email notification will also be sent to the referring party including all the details.

Non-appraised properties available for quotes

Properties that are not yet appraised can now be quoted for, allowing you to generate and take the quote to market appraisals and benefit from more referral opportunities.

If you know the number of owners and tenure, you can also Add an estimated price.

You can now select as to whether the property is owned as part of a limited company, ensuring you now capture all the known specialties or disbursements about the transaction to guarantee the most accurate quotes possible.

Referrals - set up your payment details

This new feature went live on 2nd December.

Within Alto, you'll earn commission every time you make a successful referral with one of our linked partners or conveyancers

Previously, the process to obtain your bank details to issue these payments was a manual process. However, we've introduced a new page where you can enter your preferred bank account details into Alto for the sake of these referral payments from conveyancers or Just Move In.

  1. (If you're a Group Administrator), click your name in the top right corner
  2. Click Account settings
  3. Within the Payment details tab, enter your Bank account details
  4. Click Save account details

 Note

  • Your referral fees are processed at the end of each month. You will then receive an invoice confirming the amount you are due on the first day of the following month. Your payment will be received within 60 days.
If you are not due any referral fees within the billing period, you will not be receiving an invoice.
To stay on top of things, you can keep track of all of your referrals with the Referrals dashboard

  • You will get one invoice that combines the referral fees of different partners. However, this does not include all partners as some will pay you directly

Improvements

Improvements for Reporting beta

We've released the following improvements for Alto's Reporting beta:

Alto consumer renamed to Keyflo

This improvement went live on 18th December.

We have renamed Alto consumer to Keyflo. As a result:

  • We have updated the domain to account.keyflo.co.uk
  • Emails are now sent from Keyflo (no-reply@keyflo.co.uk)
  • We have updated the terms and conditions, the privacy notice and all onsite content
  • We have introduced a new registration template

Alto consumer - improvements and optimisations

This improvement went live on 5th December.

We have made the following general improvements and optimisations to Alto consumer (working name):

Emails

  • Updated links to buttons so they’re easier to spot and click/tap on (particularly on mobile)
  • On click through from the email, the users email address is pre-populated on the registration/login form to minimise effort to access their account
  • Sendgrid categories added to the email templates to make reporting easier

Consumer Experience

  • Added information on how long a task can be expected to take
  • Added a ‘hero’ main image where available on to the property cards
  • The property questionnaire can now be sent at any stage, not just for Instructed properties

The second 'task' we introduced to Alto consumer as part of this beta was listing approval. Improvements and optimisations to this include:

Client Experience

  • We now hide additional sections of the listing when they're not populated
  • Renamed labels to make them more consumer friendly
  • Added text to sign-off (to confirm specifically what the client is confirming) based on feedback
  • On task completion, users are now returned to their property to see what actions remain

Agent Experience

  • When you sign-off the listing after receiving comments, this is now just labelled as Complete rather than Skip and Complete

Referrals dashboard - improvements

This improvement went live on 2nd December.

We’ve released numerous changes to the Referrals dashboard based on your feedback to increase its use and value.

  • Financial details (such as fee information) will only be visible to Group Administrators

Product fixes

Fixed an issue where emailing single tenancies would add all tenants email addresses

This product fix went live on 18th December.

If you selected a single tenancy from Recent & Favourite Tenancies and then selected Email Tenants, if the tenancy had more than one term, the email addresses of all tenants in Recent & Favourite Tenancies were added to the email.

This has now been fixed.
