Once a sales property is instructed, you can then configure ahead of time whether to automatically send quotes from our vetted approved panel of conveyancers to your contacts (via Keyflo).

 Did you know...

Within Alto, you can either directly refer your contact(s) to one of our approved conveyancers, or, you can open a case with a conveyancer in situations where your contact(s) get in touch with you.

Either way, you have the choice to view our full list of conveyancers from Alto's vetted approved panel, or, you can set up your own preferred panel of conveyancers consisting of a selection of those that are currently on that approved panel.

Enabling automatic conveyancer quotes

Enabling the automation automatically sends conveyancer quotes to your contacts (via Keyflo) when a sales property is instructed.

  1. (If you're a Group Administrator), click your name in the top right corner
  2. Click Account settings
  3. Click the Your account tab
  4. Within the Conveyancer referrals section, click Settings
  5. On the left hand side, click Preferred panel
  6. Toggle Enable automation on or off

Sending conveyancer quotes to the owner via Keyflo

As you'll see in the video below, when you instruct a sales property, the first 'owner task' that is automatically sent (via Keyflo) to be completed is for Automated conveyancer quotes (if automation is enabled).

As a prerequisite of this, Alto will send the owner (the primary contact) an email with a secure link to register for Keyflo

Once the owner is registered/logged in, they'll be prompted about a conveyancer quotes task they have - upon selecting Start, they can preview a list of quotes from the recommended conveyancers in your panel. Each quote includes the full price breakdown, as well as conveyancer information.

When they're ready, the owner can Choose the conveyancer of their choice and instruct them. They'll then receive an email confirmation.

Back in Alto, the property record will be updated accordingly, and you'll be notified the task has been actioned within the Timeline

Selecting the task from the Timeline opens up our new property workflow on the Post-appraisal tab where you can see the time and date stamp for when this 'owner task' was Sent and Completed.

Once you've automatically sent conveyancer quotes and the task has been completed, you'll want to make a start on adding further details to the property record to prepare it for going on the market.
