Once you've carried out the market appraisal appointment, you'll want to 'write up' the valuation by completing the Post-Appraisal top tab, before then sharing it with the owner.

  1. Click Properties on the main navigation bar
  2. Select the relevant property from Recent & Favourite Properties
    1. Alternatively, find the property using the Search Properties bar in the top right
  3. Click Appraisal on the side menu
  4. Click the Post-Appraisal top tab

The fields differ for a sales and lettings property - however, as a minimum, in order to be able to later instruct a property, a Proposed price must be entered.

Sales property

Complete as many of the Sale Pricing fields as possible:

  1. As a minimum, enter a Proposed price
  2. Enter your Commission %
(The merge code for this is #sale_fee_quoted_%# and can be included in letter templates such as appraisal follow ups which will pull this figure through)
For more information on Adding merge codes to a letter template, click here
  3. The Fee Quoted field is alphanumeric and you can either:
    1. Enter net or gross fee amounts with text, i.e. '£2000 inc VAT & floorplan',
    2. Enter percentages, i.e. '10%',
    3. Use the calculator to work out the fee amount based on the Proposed price and the Commission %.
(The merge code #sale_fee_quoted_including_vat# can be included in letter templates such as appraisal follow ups, and will calculate the Fee Quoted value including VAT)

  4. Click Save
  5. You may be offered the opportunity to create appropriate letters relating to the appraisal, which you can send to and share with the owner. These can be handled like any other letter

Once you've written up and shared the property valuation with the owner, you'll want to record that the terms have been sent and/or signed by the owner.
