Adding utility companies to a property

You can easily associate a utility company for electricity, gas, water, sewerage, oil, bulk lpg and the council to an individual property. However, you will first need to set up the utility company as a supplier in Contacts on your main toolbar.

 To add utility companies to a property:

  1. Click Properties on the main toolbar
  2. Select the relevant property from Recent & Favourite Properties
    1. Alternatively, find the property using the Search Properties bar in the top right
  3. Click Management on the side menu
  4. Click the Utilities top tab
  5. Click Select Provider next to the required utility
  6. The Select a ... Provider window opens, displaying a list of suppliers. Use the Search bar to find the relevant supplier, or scroll down the list
  7. Click Select on the relevant provider
  8. Click Confirm
  9. Click on a utility to display (and add) additional information
    1. Enter the Account Number if known
    2. Enter the Meter Serial No if known
    3. Enter the MPAN (Meter Point Admin Number) if known
    4. Tick Pre Payment Card if applicable
    5. If an incorrect provider is displayed, you can click Remove Provider
  10. Click Save

 Note

  • The Management tab on the side menu will not be visible until the property has been instructed
  • The Gas provider will not be shown if the property has been selected as having no gas
