An Entry Type can be selected when adding a General Appointment in to the Diary, to help identify the subject of the appointment.

An example might be a survey, a safety check, a photo appointment, a property inspection, or meeting.

 Note

Diary entry types can only be added to your General Appointment options by the Group Administrator in your branch who has access to System Administration

  1. Click Tools on the main toolbar
  2. In the dropdown menu, click Templates and admin
  3. Click System Administration on the side menu
  4. Click Group Settings
  5. In Group Settings, scroll down and click Diary Sub-Types
    1. You can also access Diary Sub-Types from within Diary Colours
  6. Scroll to the bottom of the General Diary Event Sub-Types List and click Add New Code
  7. Fill in the details of the new diary type in the Name, ShortName and Description fields

This new Diary Event will be available to select from the Entry Type dropdown menu when creating a General Appointment from the Diary, or from a contact or property.
