Adding tenant bank details

At the end of a tenancy, when refunding a deposit or when an overpayment of rent needs to be refunded, it's important to ensure the tenant bank account details are added on their contact record, to help towards processing a successful payment.  

To add banking details for a tenant:

  1. Click Contacts on the main toolbar
  2. Select the relevant tenant from Recent & Favourite Contacts
    1. Alternatively, find the tenant using the Search Contacts bar in the top right
  3. Click Contact on the side menu
  4. Click the Bank Details top tab
  5. Click Add Bank Account
  6. Locate the tenants bank in the list and click Select
  7. Click Confirm
  8. Enter the bank details for the tenant and click Add


Alternatively, if the bank isn't listed, you can add a new bank account for use now and in the future.

  1. Click Add Bank Account
  2. Click Add New
  3. Enter the relevant bank branch details and click Ok


  4. When the details have been verified as correct, click Confirm
  5. Enter the bank details for the tenant and click Add
