At the end of a tenancy, when refunding a deposit or when an overpayment of rent needs to be refunded, it's important to ensure the tenant bank account details are added on their contact record, to help towards processing a successful payment.
To add banking details for a tenant:
- Click Contacts on the main toolbar

Select the relevant tenant from Recent & Favourite Contacts
- Alternatively, find the tenant using the Search Contacts bar in the top right
- Click Contact on the side menu
- Click the Bank Details top tab
- Click Add Bank Account
- Locate the tenants bank in the list and click Select
- Click Confirm
- Enter the bank details for the tenant and click Add
Alternatively, if the bank isn't listed, you can add a new bank account for use now and in the future.
- Click Add Bank Account
- Click Add New
- Enter the relevant bank branch details and click Ok
- When the details have been verified as correct, click Confirm
- Enter the bank details for the tenant and click Add
