Alto can help you easily manage the progression of a tenancy application, through the defined tasks that are to be followed, until such time as the tenant has moved in and the tenancy setup has been finalised to make the tenancy active.

How to access a tenancy progression
The tenancy progression screen can be accessed in any one of three ways:
From Progressions:
- Click Progressions on the main toolbar
- Click All Lettings on the side menu
- Click the relevant tenancy from the list
From Tenancies:
- Click Tenancies on the main toolbar

Select the relevant tenancy from Recent & Favourite Tenancies
- Alternatively, find the tenancy using the Search Tenancies bar in the top right
- Click Tenancy on the side menu
- Click Progression
From Properties:
- Click Properties on the main toolbar
- Select the relevant property from Recent & Favourite Properties
- Alternatively, find the property using the Search Properties bar in the top right
- Click Actions
- In the dropdown menu, click Lettings Progression

Best practice
Whilst it isn't mandatory to complete all of the tasks in order to make a tenancy active, we recommend it as it enables you to check that everything that should have been done, has been done.
As each task completed advances the progress meter, everyone can quickly see how far every tenancy application has reached from the progression screen, without having to go into each and every tenancy

The list of progress tasks that you see when setting up a new tenancy may differ from the one that appears in these examples as this list can be customised in System Administration by your appointed Group Administrator
