Creating a standard paragraph for Email, SMS and Rooms

You can create standard paragraphs which can later be used when sending an email, an SMS, and for adding a paragraph to a room description.

Creating a selection of standard paragraphs can help save time when sending a similar email or SMS message, and when adding a paragraph to a room description.

Creating Standard Paragraphs

 Note

When creating standard paragraphs, they will only be added to your default branch. Should you want the standard paragraphs available for all branches, they must be set up on each branch separately and with different names

  1. Click Tools on the main toolbar
  2. In the dropdown menu, click Templates and admin
  3. On the side menu, under System Tools, click Standard Paragraphs
  4. Click Actions
  5. Click Add Standard Paragraph from the dropdown menu
  6. The Add Standard Paragraph window opens
    1. Name - The name you enter will be added into the subject line of your email or room description
    2. Type - In the dropdown menu, click:
      1. Standard Paragraph - The Content will be available to use when you add a paragraph to the Rooms side menu tab on the Property record
      2. Standard Email - The Content will be available to use when you send an email
      3. Standard SMS - The Content will be available to use when you send an SMS from the Home screen side menu. However, there is a maximum limit of 160 characters
    3. Add your Content as required
    4. Click OK

Deleting Standard Paragraphs

  1. Click Tools on the main toolbar
  2. In the dropdown menu, click Templates and admin
  3. On the side menu, under System Tools, click Standard Paragraphs
  4. Tick the box next to the one you want to delete
  5. Click Actions
  6. Click Delete Standard Paragraph. It will be deleted immediately
