Alto allows you to create a listed group of contacts based on their consent to marketing and communication for GDPR.
Note
The flags in the Consent section only relate to Client contacts. Therefore, you must tick Client in the Category section when creating a group, to enable the consent fields
To create a group of contacts based on their consent:
- Click Contacts on the main toolbar
- Click Groups in the top left
- Click the + symbol alongside My Groups, to create a new match group
- The New Match Group window opens. In the Group section, enter a Name for the group
- In the Category section, tick Client
- Scroll down to the Consent section, which is now no longer greyed out. Click the relevant consent options that you would like to report on (See examples below)
- Tick any additional criteria that you require across the sections and tabs
- Click Save
- You can edit the group once you've saved it. Click Edit below the group name on the side menu
In the Consent section:
- This setting will include all clients with consent granted for Property Matching
- This setting will include all clients with consent denied for General Marketing
- These settings will include all clients where there is no record of consent for Conveyancing (via Alto) and Financial Service Referrals (via Alto)
- Where more than one choice is selected, you'll create a group which includes any of those selected, (consent granted, denied or unknown). Therefore, the example below will generate a group with all of your contacts included
- The example below will generate a group of contacts where consent is granted for Property Matching and denied for General Marketing, i.e. where both are true
