Changing a contact type

You can quickly and easily change a contact from one type to another, i.e. where a solicitor has been mistakenly added as a Client.

  1. Click Contacts on the main toolbar
  2. Select the relevant contact from Recent & Favourite Contacts
    1. Alternatively, find the contact using the Search Contacts bar in the top right
  3. Click Contact on the side menu
  4. In the Type dropdown menu, click the required contact type
  5. Click Save

 Note

You may have to add further details to the contact record, i.e. if changing the Type to Supplier, you would need to specify the Services that they provide
