In Alto, you need to provide the price for all your properties, and you can very easily change the advertised price of a property that's being marketed.

  1. Click Properties on the main toolbar
  2. Select the relevant property from Recent & Favourite Properties
    1.  Alternatively, find the property using the Search Properties bar in the top right
  3. Click Property on the side menu
  4. Click the Marketing top tab
  5. In the Sale/Rental Information section:
    1. Ensure a Price (£) has been entered and/or amend it as required
    2. Amend the Price Qualifier if necessary
(If the Qualifier is currently set as Price on application, you'll need to select a different option. This option no longer meets the National Trading Standards rules)
  6. Click Save
  7. You may be offered the opportunity to create appropriate letters relating to the price change. These can be handled like any other letter

 Note

  • Changing the price on a property may not automatically update the property on portals.  To force an upload, make a minor change to the summary of the property and then save the property record.  You can then change the summary back to how it was
  • To find when the price was changed on a property, go to the Timeline and turn off all Timeline filters except Other.  The price change will be in the remaining items in the Timeline
