Quick send an SMS

  1. Click Home on the main navigation bar
  2. Click Communication on the Home screen side menu
  3. Click Quick Send SMS
  4. The Quick Send SMS window opens. In the To field, use the search bar to find and select the contact by name or mobile number
  5. In the SMS Text field, type the required text message (up to 160 characters max)
    1. Alternatively, click the Insert Standard Paragraph dropdown menu to select a pre-prepared standard message that can be further edited
  6. Below the message, ensure you have permission from the recipient to send them messages and that you have their consent for marketing
  7. Click Send

If the SMS message is sent to a contact rather than an ad hoc mobile number, the message appears in the contacts Timeline.
