Chasing and revising offers

Within Alto, you can follow up and revise an offer that's been made but not yet accepted from a prospective purchaser or tenant.

The offer can be revised from the Offer Details window which can be accessed in any one of three ways, either from the Main Dashboard, from the Property, or from Contacts (the applicant).

This article includes: 

Revising an offer received from a prospective purchaser or tenant via the Main Dashboard

  1. Click the Home screen tab on the main toolbar
  2. Click Main Dashboard on the Home screen side menu
  3. In the Tasks widget, click Offers
  4. In the list, find the offer that is to be revised and click Offer Received
  5. The Offer Details window opens. In The Offer section, amend the offer price
  6. Type any relevant notes into the fields on the right hand side (About the Offer, Mortgage/Financial Notes etc)
  7. Click Save
  8. A message appears prompting you to confirm that you intend to make the change. Click Continue
  9. An Offer Revised message appears. Click either Revised offer from applicant or Previously incorrect amount to select why the offer has changed
  10. You may then be offered the opportunity to create appropriate letters relating to the offer revised. These can be handled like any other letter

There may be further offer tasks relating to this offer revision that need to be completed on the dashboard, i.e. Submit revised offer to Vendor/Landlord

  1. Click Property on the main toolbar
  2. Select the relevant property from Recent & Favourite Properties
    1.  Alternatively, find the property using the Search Properties bar in the top right
  3. The property Overview displays. Click Offers
  4. In the Offers list, click the Offer that is to be revised
  5. The Offer Details window opens. In The Offer section, amend the offer price
  6. Type any relevant notes into the fields on the right hand side (About the Offer, Mortgage/Financial Notes etc)
  7. Click Save
  8. A message appears prompting you to confirm that you intend to make the change. Click Continue
  9. An Offer Revised message appears. Click either Revised offer from applicant or Previously incorrect amount to select why the offer has changed

  2. Select the relevant contact from Recent & Favourite Contacts

  5. The Offer Details window opens. In The Offer section, amend the offer price
