Changing the deal owner for a sale

Within Alto, you can change the deal owner by renegotiating the sale of the ongoing property purchase.

This can be done from the sales progression screen which can be accessed in any one of two ways, either from Progressions or from Properties.

Changing the deal owner for a sale from Progressions

 Note

By following the required renegotiation steps to solely change the deal owner, you will not be impacting the sale itself

  1. Click Progressions on the main toolbar
  2. Click All Sales on the side menu
  3. Click the relevant sale from the list
  4. Click Actions
  5. In the dropdown menu, click Renegotiate Sale (this will only amend the deal owner)
  6. The Renegotiate Sale window opens. In the Negotiator dropdown menu, click a name to reassign the sale to someone else (change the deal owner)
  7. Within Notes, type Sale renegotiated to amend deal owner
  8. Click Save

Changing the deal owner for a sale from Properties

 Note

By following the required renegotiation steps to solely change the deal owner, you will not be impacting the sale itself

  1. Click Properties on the main toolbar
  2. Select the relevant property from Recent & Favourite Properties
    1. Alternatively, find the property using the Search Properties bar in the top right
  3. Click Actions
  4. In the dropdown menu, click Sales Progression
  5. Click Actions
  6. In the dropdown menu, click Renegotiate Sale (this will only amend the deal owner)
  7. The Renegotiate Sale window opens. In the Negotiator dropdown menu, click a name to reassign the sale to someone else (change the deal owner)
  8. Within Notes, type Sale renegotiated to amend deal owner
  9. Click Save
