Configuring Pop-Up Blocker In Chrome, Internet Explorer and Firefox

Question:

How Do I Disable Pop Up Blocking For Alto?

Solution:

A simple way to test if this is a problem is to go into a property and click on Docs>Brochure Setup and choosing Customise or Edit. If pop-ups are blocked, then each of the browsers will give a warning (see below).

Chrome

When Chrome encounters a pop up, it will warn you and give you the option to allow pop ups for the particular URL.

The blocked pop up icon is situated to the right side of the address bar and is not necessarily immediately noticeable (see below - the red icon is quite small). Click on the icon and choose 'Always Allow'.

The URLs that are allowed can be found via Chrome in Settings>Show advanced settings>Privacy>Content Settings>Pop-ups>Manage Exceptions.

Internet Explorer

When IE encounters a pop up it will warn you and give you the option to allow pop ups for the particular URL.

The URLs that are allowed can be found via Internet Explorer in Internet Options>Privacy>Pop-up Blocker>Settings.

Firefox

When Firefox encounters a pop up, it will warn you and give you the option to allow pop ups for the particular URL. If there is an error when allowing the pop up, then ignore the error.

The URLs that are allowed can be found via Firefox in Internet Options >Privacy>Pop-up Blocker>Settings.
