Receipting Funds From A Landlord to appear on a Statement
This guide shows the process of how to get landlord funds on their Statement, when a Landlord owes money for a supplier charge which is on his statement and has sent in funds to cover it.
- Go to Landlord> Actions>Receipts and type in date received, amount and click update.
2. On the following Screen, type a description for the funds i.e.. Funds for washing machine. Click the option to “Receive into payment group” and select the payment group from the drop down menu.
3. Click on yes to save changes and these details will appear on Landlord statement.
If the transactions do not appear straight away, check the correct Bank Account and Payment Group selected if the Landlord has more than one.
4. Update the Statement to show the Landlord that funds have been receipted against the charge.
