Restricting Access to Alto at certain times
Go to System Administration > Branches > Edit Branch > Allowable Login Times:
Clicking this link will display a new screen Allowed Login Times:
- Entering a range of 00:00 to 23:59 means that there are no restrictions
(you can also do this quickly by using the Open All Day link).
- Entering a range of 00:00 to 00:00 means that there is no access
(you can also do this quickly by using the Closed All Day link).
You then need to select the users whose access you wish to restrict. You may not wish to restrict certain users such as managers.
Go to System Administration>Group Users. Select a User whose access you wish to restrict to the allowable login times and click on Edit User.
In their user record, tick the Login Restricted by Time box:
This will restrict the User’s ability to log into Alto to the days/times set in the branch 'Allowable Login Times', for any and all branches to which they belong.
If you have Users that you want to omit from this restriction, do not tick this box for them and they will retain the ability to log in at any time they choose.
Note: The Time To is not linked to a user's session and so will not automatically log them out if they are still logged in when the end time is reached.
