Should an error be made with a tenancy status, i.e. it has been ended in error, you can revert it back to active. This can be done when the tenancy status is either Vacate In Progress, or, the tenancy vacating has been finalised and so the status is Vacated and the Tenancy Ended.

Changing a tenancy with Vacate in Progress status back to Active status

  1. Click Progressions on the main navigation bar
  2. In the dropdown menu, click Lettings progressions
  3. Within Lettings on the side menu, click Vacating Property
  4. Click the relevant property in the list to take you through to the relevant tenancy
    1. Alternatively, find the property using the Search Lettings bar in the top right
  5. Click Actions
  6. From the dropdown menu, click Cancel Vacation
  7. Review the Tenancy Information, Property and Owner. Add Notes if required
  8. Click OK. The tenancy reverts back to Active

Changing a tenancy with Vacated Tenancy Ended status back to Active status

  1. Click Progressions on the main navigation bar
  2. In the dropdown menu, click Lettings progressions
  3. Find the relevant vacated property record using the Search Lettings bar in the top right
  4. Click the property address to take you through to the vacated tenancy
  5. Click Actions
  6. From the dropdown menu, click Revert status to "Vacate In Progress"
  7. Review the Tenancy Information, Property and Owner. Add Notes if required
  8. Click OK. The tenancy is now Vacate In Progress
  9. To then change the tenancy from Vacate in Progress back to Active status, follow the steps in the section above

 Note

If the tenancy has been fully vacated, it can be recovered from Progressions > Lettings progressions > Vacating Property, then change the Status to Complete. (It isn't possible to search through the list, but it can be sorted by clicking the headers at the top)

Once you've found your tenancy progression in this list, click on it, then go to Actions > Revert status to "Vacate in Progress".
