@
The @ icon is present on the Overview side menu when you click Properties, Contacts or Tenancies on the main navigation bar. It opens up an Email window.
i.e. "Click the @ icon below the name of the contact to be able to send an email"
+ Sticky note
The + Sticky note icon is present on the top right hand side of Alto, when you click Properties, Contacts or Tenancies on the main navigation bar. It allows you to add a sticky note. The toggle icon alongside it lets you show/hide sticky notes.
i.e. "Click the + Sticky note icon to add a sticky note"
Speech bubble
The speech bubble icon is present on the Overview side menu when you click on Properties, Contacts or Tenancies on the main navigation bar. It opens up an SMS Message window.
i.e. "Click the speech bubble icon below the name of the contact to be able to send an sms message"

Add Contact
The Add Contact icon is present on the top left hand side of Alto, when you click Contacts on the main navigation bar.
Add a Property
The Add a Property icon is present on the top left hand side of Alto, when you click Properties on the main navigation bar.
API
An Application programming interface (API) is a computing interface that defines interactions between multiple softwares. E.g. Creating a feed from your Alto software to Zoopla, Rightmove and/or On The Market.
B
Bin
The Bin icon can be found on several screens throughout Alto and is used to delete a row or record. One such place is within the Keys side menu within a property record. It's located on the right hand side of the screen.

Client
In Alto, a Client covers Vendors, Landlords and Applicants.
Cog
The Cog icon can be found on several screens throughout Alto and acts as an additional options window for the relevant screen. One such place is within the Payment Groups top tab within a Contact record. It's located on the right hand side of the screen.

Funnel
The Funnel icon is present within the Opening Balances section of Accounts. It's located at the end of the headed columns and when clicked, opens a search option below each column.

Grid
The Grid icon is present within Rooms on a property record. It's located at the far right of each row, and when clicked, expands the view of each room or paragraph.

Home screen side menu
The Home screen side menu is present when you have clicked the Alto Logo (formerly labeled as Home) on the main navigation bar, and refers to the menu down the left side of the screen.
i.e. "Click Appointments in the Home screen side menu"

Main navigation bar
The main navigation bar is always present at the top of Alto. The first tab is identified by the Alto Logo (formerly labeled as Home) and will return you to the dashboard.
i.e. "Click Contacts on the main navigation bar"
R
Recent & Favourite (Properties/Contacts/Tenancies)
The Recent & Favourite section is present on the left hand side of Alto, when you click Properties, Contacts or Tenancies on the main navigation bar.
i.e. "Select the relevant landlord from Recent & Favourite Contacts"

Search bar
The Search bar is present on the right hand side of Alto, when you click Properties, Contacts, Tenancies or Progressions on the main navigation bar.
i.e. "Find the landlord using the Search Contacts bar in the top right"
Side menu
The Side menu is present when you have clicked any of the tabs, except Diary, on the main navigation bar. It's also present within Tools, albeit visually different.
i.e. "Click Contact on the side menu"
Stage Management dropdown menu
The Stage Management dropdown menu is present on several screens throughout Alto and is used to select from a range of different status. These include Pending, In Progress, Completed etc.
i.e. "Click Appraisals and then click the Stage Management dropdown menu"
Supplier
In Alto, a Supplier is considered as a Utility provider, Board Contractor, General Contractor or Contractor.
Sync
The Sync (Synchronisation) icon is present on the Available Diaries side menu when you click on Diary on the main navigation bar. It's used to synchronise Outlook or your mobile device with the Alto calendar.
T
Toggle
The toggle is present on several screens throughout Alto and is used to enable or disable certain functions and/or settings.
i.e. "i.e. "Slide the toggle to enable/disable....."
Top tab
The Top tab is present once you have clicked on an option from the Side menu.
i.e. "Click the Position top tab"
W
Widget
Widgets are present once you have clicked either the Dashboard or the Property Management Dashboard on the Home screen side menu. They act as visual snapshots and show further detail and link to their respective screens, once clicked.
i.e." On the Property Management Dashboard, click the Landlords To Pay widget"
