You can attach documents to an email you send from Alto - for example when emailing a letter to a contact. Attachments are pulled from documents already stored on the contact, property or tenancy record, so you'll upload the file to the record first, then attach it.
Note
- Documents must be uploaded to the contact, property or tenancy record before they can be attached to an email. See Uploading and organising documents
- Attachments should be no more than 19.5mb in size
Adding an attachment
Attach documents while composing the email, before you send.
- Create and edit your letter ready to email
- Click Finalise
- Click Email
- The Email window opens in a new browser window
- Click the Paperclip to select the attachments
- Click on either the Property and/or Contact for a list of attached documents to appear
- Tick the box to select the documents to want to attach
- Click Select
- Attachments includes the letter, along with additional attachments selected in the step above
- Click Send
