When onboarding with Alto, during your Onboarding kick off call, your Onboarding Coordinator will discuss your training journey. (Please refer back to your Alto hub as required)

Your training journey consists of free of charge self-paced digital learning via Alto Skills, and Trainer Q&A sessions with one of our expert Software Trainers, to spend on topics of your choice.

Alto Skills training

 Note

It’s essential that your team complete their Alto Skills training prior to the Alto Activation

Everything you need to know has been broken down into skills, each taking no more than 3-5 minutes to learn. Alto Skills covers all aspects of Alto from initial setup and getting your first property uploaded, to running your client account or adapting your letter templates to suit your requirements.

Features of Alto Skills include:

  • Skills-focused, enabling you to learn what you need, when you need it. With the ability to search for anything, anytime, you can quickly find the exact content you need
  • Personalised learning with tailored suggestions, ensuring the content fits you
  • Get your questions answered by an Alto expert
  • Social features that help you stay connected with colleagues and other agencies
  • Managers have access to easy to read metrics and insights into their team's learning journey and performance. No need for complex reports or manual checks
  • Watch past sessions or register for upcoming Alto Bitesize webinars - 30 minute sessions led by Alto experts, sharing practical tips to help you streamline everyday tasks, save time, and become an Alto champion in your team

What skills do I need to complete?

Alto Skills has been built to suit you and so you won't see any long winded modules that you need to complete - instead there are short courses focused on individual skills or processes.

Your homepage will recommend you content - this means it's entirely up to you what content you choose to learn, that best suits your role.

You can always look for specific content too via the search functionality, or, via the tabs, as explained in the video below.

In addition to the above, you also have access to the Alto Help Centre at any time to search for information.

Should you have any queries, you can email us at altoskills@altosoftware.co.uk.

Viewing the progress of your team (as a manager)

As a manager, you can see the progress of your team members from the Team Dashboard area.

  1. Click Insights
  2. Click Team Dashboard

The Team Dashboard provides actionable insights into your team's learning journey and performance. It allows you to track individual and team progress against assigned learning objectives, analyse customisable metrics, and identify engagement trends.

The dashboard includes tabs for assigned learning, completions, badges, people, pathways, events, and attempts, giving a comprehensive view of overdue learning, completion rates, event attendance, and more.

Trainer Q&A sessions

Your Trainer Q&A sessions can be booked to suit you - you might prefer to have the sessions shortly after the live migration, or you might want to spend time using Alto before collating questions and topics you’d like to cover.

Your Onboarding Coordinator will update your Alto hub, providing links to book the sessions.

 Did you know...

Once you've completed your skills training and utilised your Trainer Q&A sessions provided with Onboarding, additional live training is available if you feel you'd benefit from it.

We offer live training covering all aspects of Alto - the details of which can be found via the links, along with booking options:
