Alto includes a built-in Property Map, available from your home screen, which displays all your properties on an interactive map.
You can filter properties by status, from valuation through to completed, across both sales and lettings.
What is the Property Map used for?
- Visualise where your properties are located
- Identify clusters of activity in specific areas
- Quickly access property details from a map view
Displaying the Property Map
- Click the Alto Logo (Home tab) on the main navigation bar
- Click Property Map on the Home screen side menu
- The map appears and zooms out appropriately in order to display all of your properties
Properties are displayed as icons on the map based on their type.
- Sale properties display on the property map represented with a red house symbol
- Lettings properties display on the property map represented with a blue house symbol
- When multiple properties are in the same location, they are grouped into a numbered blue circle
Navigating the Property Map
- You can zoom and move around the map in the same way as Google Maps
- Click on a red or blue house, on the map to view more details about that particular property
- Click on a number in a blue circle, on the map to zoom into that location, separating the properties so that you can see where the individual properties are. If the number is large, you may need to click multiple clusters to zoom in further
Choosing the properties to display on the map
You can choose what properties are to be displayed based upon their status, as well as display properties at multiple statuses.
- Click the Filters dropdown menu
- Click the cross symbol to select and view properties of that status
- Click the tick symbol to deselect properties of that status, that you don't want to see
- Click the Filters dropdown menu again to hide the filter
The property map updates to only show properties that match the status(es) that you've selected.

- Click on a red house, or, a blue house, on the map. The map updates to show Google Street View on the left side of the screen, and the right side shows the property's location on a satellite view, along with a brief overview of the property. You can continue to zoom further if you wish
- You can either:
- Click the X in the top right corner of the brief overview to exit this view and return to the property map
- Click View Property to be taken to the property record
