This is the current list of merge codes that are available to be used in your Alto emails.

Merge codes for email templates

In Alto, to save you time and to help ensure your communication to your customers is on brand, you can now select a template to use when sending an ad hoc email.

When using a template you've created, you can type or copy and paste the following merge codes and these will merge on sending the email:

Merge codes for batch emails

The below merge codes are unique to sending bulk emails in relation to Event Dates on the Property Management Dashboard.

By using them, you can add a personalised touch to the email(s), as well as save time by adding useful fields (tenant name, rent agreed etc).

Tenancy

Name Description
#event_date_tenancy_agreement_name# The agreement name for a tenancy
#event_date_tenancy_end_date# The end date for a tenancy
#event_date_tenancy_management_type# The term management type for a tenancy
#event_date_tenancy_rent_agreed# The amount of rent agreed for a tenancy
#event_date_tenancy_rent_frequency# The frequency of rental due dates for a tenancy
#event_date_tenancy_start_date# The start date for a tenancy
#event_date_tenancy_term_length# The term of the latest term including years or months qualifier
#event_date_tenancy_vacate_date# The tenancy vacate date

Property

Name Description
#event_date_property_address# The address for a property as a single line
#event_date_property_price# The price for a property

Guarantor (for each tenant)

Name Description
#event_date_applicant_<number>_guarantor_name# The tenant guarantor name
#event_date_applicant_<number>_guarantor_salutation# The tenant guarantor salutation
#event_date_applicant_<number>_guarantor_address_block# The tenant guarantor address
#event_date_applicant_<number>_guarantor_phone_block# The telephone numbers for the tenant guarantor in block form
