Alto has partnered with Just Move In, who, in addition to their Void Utilities Automation service, also offer a free home setup concierge service for anyone that's moving home (either as a sale or let move).
This service is available as part of your Alto subscription - at no extra cost.
Just Move In make it easier to manage everything from council tax and energy, through to broadband and insurance. From energy and removals through to insurance and storage, they’ll help customers get the best deals, manage their home move admin and altogether create a stress-free home move experience.

You don't need to lift a finger
Alto can automatically guide your clients to Just Move In's services. We will send emails on your behalf at specific milestones in the home moving journey, removing your need to think about when and how to signpost to movers. We will only send Just Move In emails where you have recorded that your client is opted-in to General Marketing for 1st and 3rd party electronic marketing communications.
It is your agency's responsibility to ensure the marketing preference recorded in Alto is correct, and that relevant notices have been provided to clients in order to allow for compliant electronic marketing of the Just Move In product. Do not turn on this service if you are uncertain about your privacy compliance.
How does the partnership work?
Alto can automatically guide your clients to Just Move In's services. We'll send emails on your behalf at specific milestones in the home moving journey so you don't need to think about when and how to signpost to movers. You can see an example email below.
These emails are automatically sent when:
- Vendors and Buyers - you have recorded in Alto that the client has opted-in for General Marketing and the Ready to Exchange sales progression milestone has been completed, or the progression is marked as Exchanged - whichever happens first
- Tenants - you have recorded in Alto that the client has opted-in for General Marketing and the Tenant Referencing Results Received letting progression milestone is completed, or the progression is marked as Finalised - whichever happens first
Note
In future, we may change the specific progression milestones that we use.
We will only do this if we notice that we're letting movers know too late, and we could have helped them sooner
The email that is sent out will use the following template:
The email will automatically be populated with your customers details along with your agency name and logo, and will be sent from your designated branch email address.

Multiple emails will not be sent to the same contact
If you'd like to check what email address and logo will be used in the email, follow the steps below:
Checking your branch email address
- Click Tools on the main navigation bar
- In the dropdown menu, click Templates and admin
- On the side menu, under System Tools, click System Administration
- Click Branches
- Click Edit next to your branch
- Scroll down to Email Address to view the email address linked to the branch (and alter it if needed)
Checking your logo
The logo shown on the email will be pulled from the brand settings relevant to the customer in Alto.
To view or change this:
- Click Tools on the main navigation bar
- In the dropdown menu, click Templates and admin
- On the side menu, under System Tools, click System Administration
- Click Brands
- Click Edit next to the brand you wish to view
- Scroll down to Media Items to view or upload new files
Note
Your logo must be uploaded with a file name of "logo" in order for it to correctly appear in the email header. Other file names will not be recognised
In the event you don't have a brand logo set up, Alto will automatically use the fallback of the logo set up for the branch instead. Where there is no brand or branch logo in place, the group logo will then be used.
Enabling and disabling the home setup service
You can activate, change settings and disable this free service in the Home Setup Services section in Alto.
Activate this feature
This feature is available for all Alto customers as part of their Alto subscription. For new Alto customers, you activate for all your branches with these steps:
- Click Tools on the main navigation bar
- In the dropdown menu, click Home Setup Service
- Click the Settings tab. Tick the settings accordingly as to how you'd like the service to operate, then click Save Changes
- Click Activate
Disable this service
If you want to stop recommending Just Move In, you can turn the feature off by following the steps below. However, in doing so, you'll be turning it off for all branches in your agency.
- Click Tools on the main navigation bar
- In the dropdown menu, click Home Setup Service
- Click the Settings tab. Untick the settings accordingly, then click Save Changes
- Click Deactivate
