Alto Academy
Alto Academy (formerly Alto Skills) is your go-to platform for free, self-paced training. Whether you're a new starter or an experienced user, it covers all aspects of Alto, from initial setup and getting your first property uploaded, to running your client account or adapting your letter templates.
When it launched it was all about bite-sized, skill-based content. Since then it has grown, which is why it is now Alto Academy. It brings together:
- Bite-sized, skill-based content - short lessons, each taking no more than 3-5 minutes, so you can learn exactly what you need, when you need it, and search for anything, anytime
- Learning pathways - a structured, step-by-step route through the content for your role (Sales, Lettings, Managers, or Accounts), each one a Quickstart Pathway to get you up and running quickly
- Managers have access to easy to read metrics and insights into their team's learning journey and performance. No need for complex reports or manual checks
- Webinar recordings - a growing catalogue of Alto Bitesize sessions you can watch back at any time, with supplementary content alongside each one
- Ask Alto - natural language search that surfaces answers from Alto Academy, the Help Centre, and the Alto website all at once
Other features include personalised suggestions so the content fits you, as well as social features that keep you connected with colleagues and other agencies.

How do I access Alto Academy?
Alto Academy can be accessed on the web, or via the Thrive mobile app.
- Web - Enter https://altoacademy.learn.link/login into your internet browser. Alternatively, if you're logged into Alto already, click Help (the question mark) on the main navigation bar, then Alto Academy
- Mobile - scan the QR code below and enter 'altoacademy' into the Thrive URL field when prompted
All Alto customers can log in using their Alto username and password. There's no separate registration and no separate login details - Alto Academy is open to everyone.

What would I like to learn?
Alto Academy is built around short courses focused on individual skills or processes, so you won't find any long modules you have to complete. Your homepage recommends content based on your role, so it's entirely up to you what you choose to learn.
You can also look for specific content using the search, or via the tabs.
Follow a learning pathway
New to Alto or brushing up? A learning pathway combines short lessons into one structured route for your role, each one a Quickstart Pathway to get you up to speed without picking and choosing where to start. Explore them all on the Alto Academy learning pathways page.
Viewing the progress of your team (as a manager)
As a manager, you can see the progress of your team members from the Team Dashboard area.
- Click Insights
- Click Team Dashboard
The Team Dashboard gives you actionable insights into your team's learning journey. You can track individual and team progress against assigned learning, analyse customisable metrics, and spot engagement trends. It includes tabs for assigned learning, completions, badges, people, pathways, events, and attempts, giving a comprehensive view of overdue learning, completion rates, event attendance, and more.
