A group administrator can add and remove progression milestones for buyers, vendors and lettings. These milestones appear in the sales progression checklist for all future property purchases and you can advance them through to completion.
Alternatively, if you want to add a progression milestone for a property on an individual basis (rather than the more global approach above), you can add a custom task directly to its sales progression checklist.
Progression milestones can be completed or cancelled at any point if they’re not required.
Adding (global) progression milestones for buyers, vendors and lettings
- Click Tools on the main navigation bar
- In the dropdown menu, click Templates and admin
- On the side menu, under System Tools, click System Administration
- Click Group Settings
- Scroll down and click either Owner Progression (Vendor), Buyer Progression (Purchaser) or Lettings Progression
On these pages, you can enable any milestones you want to use which are currently inactive (not ticked in the Selected column) or add a completely new milestone.
- To add a new (global) progression milestone, click Add New Code
- Enter the relevant information in the Name, ShortName and Description fields
- Click Create
Note
- We recommend you avoid editing any active milestones since it will change those which are already in use and may be part of ongoing progressions
- Any newly created or amended milestones will apply to all future progressions. Progressions which are already in progress will remain as they are
