Sync WhatsApp messages and conversations with StitchAI

Alto has integrated with StitchAI (Stitch WhatsApp message sync), enabling you to use WhatsApp as a fully connected business communication channel.

By integrating with Alto, StitchAI automatically syncs WhatsApp messages against the correct contact record, ensuring every conversation is captured in real time. This gives your team full visibility of customer interactions, improves response times and removes the risk of conversations being lost across individual devices.

Setting up the integration

If you would like to request access, whether you're an existing StitchAI customer or if you want to get set up as a new customer:

  1. Click Integrations on the main navigation bar
  2. Click the Communications category
  3. Below Stitch WhatsApp message sync, click Tell me more
    1. If you're an existing StitchAI customer and want to integrate your account with Alto, click Integrate Stitch WhatsApp message sync. Slide the toggle indicating you have an account and select the branches you'd like to activate. Then, click Integrate, at which point your request will be sent
    2. If you're a new customer wanting to get set up with StitchAI, click Register interest. Complete the short form and click Submit. StitchAI will then contact you to set up a no-obligation chat so you can find out more about them and how they integrate with Alto

To check on the status of your integration request and whether it's activated within Alto, you can view the Tell me more > Integrate page.

Here, within the Branch integration section, you can view a Sent date alongside the available branches you have access to - this is the date upon which an activation email was sent to the partner.

How does the integration work?

StitchAI integrates with Alto to connect WhatsApp conversations with your Alto database.

When a message is sent or received, StitchAI checks Alto for a matching contact using the customer’s phone number. If a match is found, the conversation is automatically synced to the relevant contact records Recent Activity.

If no matching contact exists, a new contact must first be created in Alto before messages can be logged.

This ensures all WhatsApp communication is captured, organised and accessible within Alto, providing a complete and up to date communication history.
