Once you've added the pricing details to a property, you'll need to add further information to the property record in preparation for it going on the market.
The simplest way of doing so initially is by using our new property workflow, which helps you manage properties through the lifecycle of a transaction.
The fourth step focuses on the summary description and key points.
After Pricing, the fourth step involved in Pre-marketing of the property is to add or edit a summary description and key points (bullet points) for the property.
The contents of the Description should be the initial property description designed to entice a prospective purchaser to click on the property from listing search results, whereby they will then be shown further information; i.e. rooms/paragraphs.
- Click Properties on the main navigation bar
-
Select the relevant property from Recent & Favourite Properties
- Alternatively, find the property using the Search Properties bar in the top right
-
Properties at any of the following status (Instructed, Available, Let (Marketing), Withdrawn, Suspended) will have a Prepare Property banner at the top of the page.
Click Edit below Listing Content to open up the property workflow and land on the Pre-marketing tab - The fourth section is Summary and key points. Here, AI can be used to generate a description of the property and highlight key points based on the Property details above. You can add additional details in the Details for AI field to make it more bespoke, or simply click Generate straight away
- Up to 10 AI generated Key points (bullet points) will be created - you can amend them accordingly or click X to remove individual ones.
The AI generated summary Description will be below - again you can type to amend it accordingly, or, you can add additional details in the Details for AI field before selecting Generate to refine/highlight key features of your choice that could appeal to potential buyers (such as local schools, mature gardens or transport links) - Click Save and close
With a summary description and key points added, you'll now want to move on to adding the long descriptions.
At a later point (i.e. when the property is set as Available and is being marketed), you can change the summary and key points from the property record, if necessary.
