Once you've added the various forms of media to a property, you'll need to add further information to the property record in preparation for it going on the market.
The simplest way of doing so initially is by using our new property workflow, which helps you manage properties through the lifecycle of a transaction.
The third step focuses on the pricing details.
After Media, the third step involved in Pre-marketing of the property is to add or edit the pricing details.
- Click Properties on the main navigation bar
-
Select the relevant property from Recent & Favourite Properties
- Alternatively, find the property using the Search Properties bar in the top right
-
Properties at any of the following status (Instructed, Available, Let (Marketing), Withdrawn, Suspended) will have a Prepare Property banner at the top of the page.
Click Edit below Listing Content to open up the property workflow and land on the Pre-marketing tab - The third section is Pricing - click Edit section to expand the details
- Tick Auction if the property is to be marked as auctioned
- Set or amend the Price Qualifier
- Ensure an Asking price is entered and/or amend it as required
- Click Save and close
With the Pricing details added, you'll now want to move on to adding a Summary description and key points.
At a later point (i.e. when the property is set as Available and is being marketed), you can change the pricing details from the property record, if necessary.
- Click Properties on the main navigation bar
-
Select the relevant property from Recent & Favourite Properties
- Alternatively, find the property using the Search Properties bar in the top right
- Click Property on the side menu
- Click the Marketing top tab
- In the Sale/Rental Information section:
- Amend the Price (£) as required
- Amend the Price Qualifier if necessary
(If the Qualifier is set as Price on application, you'll need to select a different option. This option no longer meets the National Trading Standards rules)
- Click Save
- At this point, you may be given the opportunity to generate the appropriate letters relating to the price change. Tick which letters you wish to generate and click Open Letters Now.
They can then be edited, finalised and sent like any other letter.

Note
- Changing the price on a property may not automatically update the property on portals. To force an upload, make a minor change to the summary of the property and then save the property record. You can then change the summary back to how it was
- To find when the price was changed on a property, go to the Timeline and turn off all Timeline filters except Other. The price change will be in the remaining items in the Timeline
