NEW Lettings progressions: First payment

Alto's New Lettings Progression feature is currently under development and will be rolled out to all Alto customers in phases over the coming months.

Once the tenancy agreement contract has been signed, the next stage of Alto's new Lettings Progression is for the tenant to make their first payment.  

First payment

Once contracts have been signed, it's time to request the first payment.  At the moment, this is not done through the new lettings progression journey - you will need to use the classic lettings progression screen to raise an initial invoice.  You can find out more here.

Upon receiving payment from the tenant, you can return to the new lettings progression journey to mark it as recieved and proceed with finalising the tenancy.    

  1. Return to the progression, either by selecting the progressions tab in the main navigation bar, then clicking ‘lettings progressions beta’, or simply select the progressions tab on the property side menu. Find the relevant progression and click Manage Progression to jump back in.
  2. To confirm payment has been received, Click Mark as received under the tenant payment section.

This completes the first payment stage.  The accounts record on the tenancy will update to show the payment as received and the progression will now be ready for the Move-in stage.
