Our product development team is constantly innovating, to build a better Alto software experience.

Every time we've added a new feature, we've notified all our users within Alto itself utilising in product messaging.

However, for a full list of the changes on a monthly basis such as new features, any improvements or product fixes to our software, please see the relevant articles in our Release Notes sections of the Help Centre.

Product fixes

Fixed an issue with rejecting properties from the contacts requirements profile

We've made a change to the matching of properties from a contact record.

When on a contacts Requirements profile, you can now thumbs down a property to reject it within the Matching Properties list, placing it in a rejected list. If you then tick Rejected within the Search Profile, you'll also be able to un-reject a property if a customer has changed their mind.

Fixed an issue with tax refund transactions

We've made a change to the way landlord overseas tax refunds show within the ledger view. This will now show the tax credit associated with any refund but not the refund transaction, which used to cause confusion.

Fixed an issue with Tasks on the Dashboard

We've implemented a change whereby Tasks (in the widget on the Dashboard) will now show 90 days either in the past or the future, until actioned. (It used to be 60 days).

Fixed an issue with the No Board Change status

Changes have been made so that there is now an option of No Board Change when this is applicable at several stages throughout the property lifecycle.

Fixed an issue with the Last Processed date in Accounts

We've made changes to the Last processed date on the front screen of the Accounts area. This will now use the Process Agency Fees instead of (where applicable) the BACS Payment Update date.

Fixed an issue with the number of Sales Completed events

We’ve fixed an issue that was causing the Sales Completed numbers (within the Stats widget on the Dashboard) to sometimes be wrong. This happened when part of the system updated a sale's status without fully completing the update in the background.

This has now been fixed, and the update process has been improved to make sure everything happens together.

Fixed an issue with the naming of groups

We've made the naming of groups easier across all match groups so special characters can now be used in the naming of these - such as (£ / &).

Fixed an issue with selecting the 'Type' when booking market appraisals

We've improved the ability to easily select the Market Appraisal Type when booking in a new property for a market appraisal, by making it easier to select from the dropdown list available.

Fixed an issue with floorplans not displaying in brochures

This product fix went live on 11th September.

We were made aware of an issue in our new property workflow whereby in some scenarios the floorplan was not automatically displaying when the brochure was generated.

This has now been fixed, and we've improved the way in which Alto populates the brochures when images are uploaded as floorplans. This is to ensure the floorplans are visible when viewing as a .pdf.
