New compliance tab - ability to conduct and record OFSI checks

This new feature went live on 28th May.

Within Contacts, we've created a new Compliance top tab so you have a place to record your manual checks for Anti-money laundering and for Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI) financial sanctions checks.

 Note

As of 14th May 2025, letting agents in the UK are legally required to conduct financial sanctions checks, regardless of the rental amount.

Every landlord, tenant and guarantor must be checked against the UK's sanctions list and any individuals matched must be reported to the Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI) and a halt put to the rental.

Within the Compliance top tab, there's a new section for Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI). Here, you can click OFSI Consolidated List which takes you to the official government website where you can conduct the checks for your contact.

Once you've conducted the check, you can click Add OFSI Check whereby you can then click thumbs up or thumbs down to record the outcome of the check. Any details of the checks that you feel necessary can be entered within the Notes field.

Alto property workflow - mapping location added to our Listing Review page

This improvement went live on 22nd May.

As part of our new property workflow, the Owner listing approval 'owner task' lets you click Latest version to review a portal-like version of the listing and its content, using our Listing Review page.

We’ve now added the mapping/street view location to the Listing Review page which will enable you to verify that you've set this correctly.

Keyflo email templates

This improvement went live on 22nd May.

We’ve made some improvements to Keyflo's emails based on your feedback, with the aim to professionalise the templates and make them more engaging. They'll also now incorporate your agency branding.

There's no extra admin needed to set them up as the assets are auto-populated from your existing Alto settings.

This improvement went live on 12th May.

As part of our new property workflow, our AI powered media uploader has been further improved so that it now shows photo thumbnails below the Media gallery.
